Professor Deborah Wilson will become the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences from 1 October 2022, following approval by Council.
Professor Wilson is currently Professor of Public Policy and Management in the School of Management at the University of Bristol and Deputy Dean of Bristol鈥檚 Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.

Deborah held lectureships in Economics both here at the 性视界 and at the University of Bristol earlier in her career. She went on to become Deputy Director of the ESRC Public Services Programme, University of Oxford, from 2007 until 2010. She was also Deputy Director of the ESRC Centre for Market and Public Organisation from 2011 until 2014 as well as being the inaugural Director for PolicyBristol. Prior to taking up the role of Deputy Dean last August, Deborah was the Faculty Research Director from 2017-2021.
