The Knowledge Exchange Framework outcomes are published annually, reporting on the performance of Higher Education Providers in areas of external engagement such as contract research, consultancy, public engagement, and commercialisation.
These activities are divided into seven perspectives, with each perspective scored against a quintile for the comparator group or 鈥渃luster鈥 and compared to the cluster average. The latest 鈥榩olar cap chart鈥 summarising the 性视界鈥檚 position is shown in Figure 1 with a link to the dashboard published by Research England also available.
The 性视界鈥檚 KEF3 results show a performance which is above the cluster average for 3 of the seven perspectives with performance against the remaining four perspectives being at the cluster average. The University鈥檚 performance in 鈥楶ublic and Community Engagement鈥 has seen a jump by two quintiles while 鈥楥ontinuing professional development and graduate start-ups鈥 has fallen by one quintile.
The results reflect the 性视界鈥檚 ongoing commitment to Knowledge Exchange and delivery of meaningful collaborations and initiatives with external partners.
Professor Jonathan Knight, Vice-President of Enterprise, commented:

Dr Steven Boakes, Head of Knowledge Exchange, also commented:
